Spicy Keto Shrimp Lettuce Wraps with Avocado, Cherry Tomatoes, and Cilantro

This delicious and easy-to-make keto lettuce-wrapped cajun shrimp dish is a perfect low-carb option for a quick lunch or dinner. The spicy shrimp, topped with fresh avocado chunks, cherry tomatoes, and cilantro, makes for a satisfying and healthy meal.


  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 1/2 tsp chili powder

  • 1/2 tsp cumin

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/8 tsp pepper

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 8 large lettuce leaves

  • 1 avocado, diced

  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

  • Fresh limes for squeezing (optional)


  1. In a medium bowl, combine the shrimp, chili powder, cumin, salt, pepper and olive oil. Toss to evenly coat the shrimp.

  2. Heat a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned shrimp to the pan and cook until pink and fully cooked, about 3-4 minutes on each side.

  3. To assemble the lettuce wraps, place a lettuce leaf on a plate and add a few shrimp to the center.

  4. Top the shrimp with diced avocado, cherry tomatoes, and fresh cilantro.

  5. Roll up the lettuce wrap to enclose the shrimp and toppings, including lime juice if desired, and secure with a toothpick if necessary. Repeat with the remaining lettuce leaves and shrimp.
